DONT SUPPORT PUPPMILLS ! CLICK HERE Before I talk about my pups and what may be available below; I would like to say  as a forword there are many souls just waiting for their second chance, I hope anyone who is considering a pup from me has first considered rescuing a wd in need.  I always say that buying from a responsible breeder should only be considered if there is something specific you are looking for, and cannot find it in rescue.  I also understand due to the sensitive nature of the wolfdog breed type that many families would prefer to start out with a puppy instead of an animal with a *history*.  Evey year puppies come up for adoption too due to irresponsible breeding and ownership.  I do believe in and promote adopting heavily.  If so please visit my rescue/adoption page for a list of some great friends whom operate wd rescue and adoption facilities . Did you also know many puppies every year of various content levels come up for adoption as well? Sadly this also shows the lack of responsibility of breeders out there.

Noble Pawz strives for temperament and health first and foremost  as it is my firm belief without that you have nothing! About My Puppies!

Pups are raised indoors underfoot with humans, and other trained dogs. These puppies are true stars and are socialized to both men and women prior to going to new homes (Very important!).  Pups turn out to be very large and tall canines when fully grown with light yellow eyes.    These pups turn out to be gentle giants!!

**********With the right training, and environment ( home,) and after individual temperament testing for right placement. These dogs can excel at sports such as sledding, agility,  working dogs such SAR (Search and Rescue), drug detecting, or simply as a daily hiking/running buddy.*********

1) Please note: I do NOT allow chaining or homes allowing my pups to roam free! (though there are many sled dog facilities that chain I cannot condone this practice with this type of canine, my pups will excel as sled dogs only in facilities that will not chain them. I adopt my pups out to companion homes only, meaning no breeding homes unless the person passes my strict approval process for such! Over the years of doing rescue I have seen countless stories of dogs being dumped due to people breeding recklessly and ignorantly thinking they could actually make a buck off of these animals, it is not as simple as putting a pretty male and female together and having pups! Not to mention spaying and neutering make all canines MUCH better pet companion material as it reduces potential aggression issues (anyone that tells you different is lying.) Top bite stats are against male boys under 12 years of age by unneutered male canines.

PRICING

We sell our pups for 1500.00 (deposits are half that price $750.00) and are kept in trust after the person is approved for a placement.  Pricing for our pups is based on all the time, attention, and financial cost spent on ensuring you get a well rounded, happy healthy puppy. Our pups are bottlefed from two weeks of age till they are weaned onto solid food here, and spoiled from the moment they come into this world, till the day they go to their new homes.  We spare NO expense on our adults that reside at our home, and this naturally is transferred over onto any pups. We spend weeks devoted only to these little lives and follow up with your pup for all it's life. I get NO sleep for weeks on end, and you will not find a *kennel* back yard environment here, like at so many other places with animals like this.  Thousands are spent on any individual litter, from only the best bottle formula available zoo logic milk matrix, to taking over a month off of professional work to tend to the pups, so I dont get paid during that time. It is easier and cheaper to just not breed.  I had to have my washing machine and dryer replaced after just one litter as it went non stop making sure babies always had clean blankies several times a day.  Breeding any litter RIGHT will be COSTLY, and that is not mentioning the huge emotional investment getting to know each individual puppy one on one.  These dogs are a way of life and I take that very seriously. Happy new moms and dads= happy puppys= a happy me.

For Your Consideration:

1) All our canines are fed a high quality diet for their needs, age, and requirements (no expense spared here)

2) All our canines are utd on vaccinations ( but not over vaccinated) I have NEVER had Parvo, Distemper etc in my animals.

3) No females are over bred, or bred every year. They are not bred for the first time till they are 2 (in the case of males)-3 years of age (for females.)

4) All our pups are raised indoors in the home underfoot, and not in cages

5) All our breeding canines are exceptionally healthy

6) All our canines are kept in INCREDIBLY clean environments and habitats

7) First and formost our canines are companion animals

8) I am there when the mother whelps to ensure all pups and mother get the best in care

9) I am there for the life of the puppy, owners can call me at any time for any reason about anything

10) I supply educational material for each new owner, in the form of an amazing 300 plus page care guide complete with photos written by myself on everything from training to nutrition

11) I NEVER sell to puppymills or petshops

12) All our canines are given the best in health care

13) None of my canines are chained, they are given daily enrichment, playtime, and walks.

14) I freely on request to serious buyers supply references including phone numbers of previous puppy buyers

This is how ALL my pups grow up to be like, they willingly roll onto their backs for you, you should not have to force such a thing. If they respect you they will show that to you and want those belly rubs to boot! All my babies automatically roll themselves starting around a few weeks of age

   Testimonials

I have references from ALL the puppy buyers not just a select few, as testament to the breeding and my facilities

Boy I hope you are ok.  I got worried about you and then your e-mail saying you were so sick.  I really hope you are better and ok.  Yikes.  If I can ever help with anything, please let me know.  I worry about you.

Ok, enough worry and on to the Beast.  He is doing great.  Getting more wolfie traits daily.  This morning he buried his bone that I gave him.  Daisy went and chewed hers but Mowgli buried his.  He wanted to come inside for his morning LOOOOOOVVVVVeeeee session.  Every morning he wants 10 to 15 minutes of loooooovvvvvveeeee.  Which means continuous petting, rubbing, massaging, stroking, whatever it takes to fill him up from lack of contact during the night.  He is starting to give 'hugs', grabbing and squeezing your forearm.  Not very hard, just enough for some pressure.  He does that a lot in the mornings or when he wakes up after a nap.  Monster boy just can't get enough lovins'.  Such a mush boy.  A girlfriend came over for some support the other day.  Her brother in-law is dying of multiple cancers and she is understandably distraught.  Well she only gave Mowgli a quick pat on the head and came inside.  Little love muffin didn't think that was enough so he sat outside and howled.  We both laughed and I brought him in for a proper hello.  After that he was fine and went back out quite happily.

the vet was very impressed with Mowgli's tempermant, how sweet and submissive and eager for attention.  Also how polite, sitting for pets before melting into a puddle of leaking puppy.  I have to clean his belly daily because he leaks urine when he meets people.  Silly little man.  The vet said he is doing great and was shocked when he realized that Mowgli is just turning 5 months old.  He is HUGE.  62 pounds of tongue and teeth and wonderful fur and feet and tail.   The vet kept saying how amazing Mowgli is and beautiful and then he felt Mowgli's testicles and was dumbfounded.  ' He is so big, I thought they would be bigger, but then he is just a little puppy still.'

There were year old twins and a three year old in the vets office and Mowgli flowed across the floor almost on his back trying to get to  them so he could say hi and give kisses.  I really held on to the leash because kids like him but are scared of his size and sometimes his crazy puppyness.  All feet and tongue.  He finally got some pets in when I held on to him so they could pet him and he could not knock them down.  This little guy of mine has not met a person he didn't think was his best friend ever.

He is still a puppy though.  He was snoozing downstairs between the couch and the coffee table, Daisy's favourite spot too.  Well I thought he was snoozing.  I was upstairs knitting and heard something so went downstairs and found a snowstorm in my living room.  Little monster man found a new roll of toliet paper and had torn it all up.  He was quite proud of himself too.  What can I say, I didn't pay close enough attention.  We did have fun cleaning it up.  He would grab a mouthful of a pile I had made and run all around the living room with it.  I would grab at feet and legs when he would run by while making a new pile to throw away.

Everyone always ask how big Mowgli will get.  I figure between 100 and 150 pounds.  Oh and do you know what the british weight a stone equals to pounds?  I have a BBC America show that I love to watch and they always bring up a person weighing a certain number of stone.  Just wondering.

He really is such a joy most of the time.  He is sooooo good too when he is sleeping.  Just the best puppy then.  He has such a great personality.  You have created a very special breed of animal.  I really think you have your own breed.  Too bad CKC wouldn't recognize them.  You did great with these guys and with your own special babies.  Oh and thanks for the continuing pics of Eco and everyone else.  I love seeing how the little girl is doing.  Thanks for everything.  Lots of Love Mare.  PS, Pics on the way soon and hopefully in the computer too.  XOXOXOX.

here some pics from last weekend from our dogclub. We changed from puppy class in beginner class. All new dogs for Noomi, but she was doing great as you see. Special friend is a 1 1/2 year young small (yellow) male dog who is very dominant, but Noomi loves him, this strong little man. Noomi is now as high as my czech wolfdog female Myla 63,5 cm and weights 24,2 kg.

Many greetings from germany

Hi
Took these this afternoon as Farren and I were about to go out for our obedience lesson. As you can see he is growing beautifully and (my daughters nicknamed him ) Baby! Ha it's so funny, when he gets to be much bigger it will be a hoot

Hilarious laughter occurs when we get company and the kids call out " baby!" We went out on our usual 8 km run last night and Farren found a wild dead boar in the brush...Found the smells fascinating but came well when I called him out.

I will try and send some more when we are out and about.

Take Care

He looks alot like Wahya!!!!  Some new pics that were taken about a month ago.  She is such a wonderful girl!!!  She finally had her first taste of rabbit the other day, we have had a few to many cotton tails hanging around and she managed to aquire one when I was feeding the horses.  She also went for her second horseback ride with us about two weeks ago, we didn't go to far not knowing how well she would handle all of the new things to see and smell but of course she did very well and was exhausted by the time we arrived home.  I will have to try and remember my camera on our next adventure and get you some pics while she is out and about.  She also still loves to meet everyone we run across or have to the house, many of our visitors fall in love with her immediatly!  She is such a pleasure!

Take care,

Julie

Noomi is with us every sunday in our dogclub in puppyclass. With 10 dogs and 10 persons. She loves everyone. No one could belive that she is doing so well. Last time we forgot our photograph, but I will take some pics when I am back from italy in one or two weeks.

Hi Sky, hope you are ok.  I hope you are well and just busy.  I'm sure you are up to your ears with snow.  We are up to our waist here.  I'm so glad we got a good winter for my little boy to have his teen months in.  He now has a big boy bladder.  He spent the night inside for the third straight night.  Before he would stay in until 2-4 am and then have to go outside.  But for the last three he has made it until morning.  He was so proud of himself too.  One night he had a nightmare and came up and stuck his nose in my armpit for some lovin'.  After he got some then he went back to sleep.  I think he is enjoying the routine.  Daisy likes to come up and see if I'm up and if I'm awake then she gives kisses and gets some butt scratches.  So now he is joining in on the routine.  He has to give kisses too and get a chest scratch.  Sweet little boy.

I took them for a run/walk yesterday and when I first let him out and ran him, he got up to 26 mph on an incline.  He enjoys the run so much.  I think he likes trying to out run the car.  The few times he has run in front of the car the run stops and he has to get in, so no more running in front.  He just loves the snow.  Running up the berm, sliding down the berm, running up a berm and then jumping down and attacking Daisy.  Sometimes we go with my mother and her dog Beau.  Beau is half Cheasepeake Bay Retreiver and Great Dane.  He tries to hump Mowgli all the time, we call him Chester the Molester.  Well Mowgli has learned to do it right back at Beau, only Mowgli can almost touch the ground when he does it to Beau, whereas Beau is way up in the air when he does it to Mowgli.  But they have fun and it gives Daisy a break from being the center of Mowgli's attacks all the time.

I'm thinking of putting an ad in the paper to look for someone with a big puppy or dog for a play date with Mowgli.  We don't have a dog park here so it is hard to find other doggies to play with.  And I really want him to get to meet other dogs.  He loves other dogs, but so often they are scared of him.  And it is so sweet to watch him because he tries so hard to get under their mouths and lick away.  And the other dog is so busy trying to get away.  Poor big baby.

I took him to the vet the other day for a fun visit.  When they aren't busy they will take the dogs in and do a pretend exam and give lots of pets and cookies.  He was super excited and nervous but did well and they all loved on him and were amazed by him.  Afterward we went visiting to the pharmacy where a friend of mine works.  We went in to the store, he was scared but did really well.  He sat like a little gentleman whenever any one came up to pet him.  And so many people cannot keep their hands off of him.  He has the most amazing coat.  His under down is some of the softest stuff I have ever felt.  Like the quivet (sp?)  from the musk ox.  After there we went to the bank and everyone oohed and ahhed him.  THen the restaurant and a few other places.  He is doing a bit better.  Not trying to bolt but not happy about it either.  Little steps in some areas.

Oh he is out there howling to come in.  Better go get the little baby.  He wants to see his daddy.  Those two are so funny together.  Tell you later.  He wants in NOW.  Take care and lots of love to everyone and cold noses too.

Love Mare.

Noomi is doing really fine. We haven been in the last 5 days on a for her
new place it is where soldiers are training. But it is old and now there is
no training but lots of people going with their dogs. And we were wondering
Noomi going with a woman 40 years with a runing dog like grey hound. 100 m
away from me Tala, Baby Vai and my friend with his female czech wolfog. but
than she notice wow nobody here and she came back, but a family with 4
people and 10 weeks young female boxer dog where on the way in between her
and us. But she went 10 meters beside but suddenly went to them smelling at
the puppy although the strangers where standing beside and than coming back
to us. 2 days later same pics. She loves all dogs and is very very friendly
with them. Dogs and people together no problem for. It is nice to see. My
friend did some congratulatoin today to me that Noomi is going so well in
her behaviour, nobody would thought this from a "real"wolfdog.

Sorry I didn't send any pics out earlier like I said.  I've been working every day and usually forget b/c I'm too tired.  Anyhow, Koga is doing great.  Like I told you before he has been deemed the new favorite puppy at the dog park.  Every time we go you can look around the park and see the fascination on people's faces as they stare at him.  Walking him is sometimes a spectacle too!  He and my 8 year old husky Denali almost look like they are from the same family.  I am constantly asked if they are related.  All I say is "sure they are".

Koga really is a pleasure to have around (aside from all of the normal puppy tendencies of getting in to everything).  You were definately right when you said that thier nature is very curious.  He has to see, taste, and be involved in everything that Shana and I are doing.  It's funny to watch him just sit and stare at you as if you are doing something amazing that has just completely caught his awe.

Well, I hope all is well in SK.  More work to do.  I will send more info. later as well as more pics.

Best regards,

Joey

hi,
sorry i sent pics with no dialogue..LOL
i punched the button too fast :)
the pictures were taken about two weeks ago at place called ella beach and she found a mud pit, ha, ha.
we are doing really well :)
her colors are changing constantly and she is growing past my knees already! people think she is a coyote...
spook remains the queen of the house-- soo funny to watch a small black cat swat and reign supreme with no fear. phoenix loves to run at the spit every morning with thor. they romp and play together like wolves. she loves all dogs of all sizes and plays with a little daschund sometimes there too. she is so gentle now. she likes to carry sticks and things in her mouth when walking.  she sleeps in the biggest crate that i could find --in my room all night and loves to jump on my bed and chew one of her toys before bed. she likes really soft plush blankets. not big on rawhides though. training is going well as i found she likes small bits of raw meat as a reward and comes more and more often right away on command. thor helps by setting a good example, especially on how to ignore people and not be afraid in public. we can even go for coffe at the local coffe shop that is dog friendly with outside seating. they lay down at our feet after our walk. she even started jumping into the truck yesterday by herself. my friends comment on how well behaved she is! she responds well to strong, clear boundaries. i built her a den in the back yard which is attatched to the house, her own room :) i am not quite finished but when i am, i'll send a picture. we got to go further in the truck yesterday too. we went to the "pot holes" and hiked the trails through the woods along the river, soo beautiful. she was so at home in a natural setting. she really is my teacher on what it means to be a wolf/mom!
i love her soo much!

sorry that I am so past due with this update.  What an amazing animal.  He is such a love muffin.  And a crazy puppy.  I have to keep reminding Yale and others that he is only 4 months old because he is so big.  Mowgli can be such a little love.  I have to keep washing his belly because he is constantly turning on his back for everyone and leaking a little urine.  He acts sometimes as if he can't get enough love ever.  Always rubbing or melting during a pet, he likes to sit on Yale's lap.  He is a complete toy boy.  He loves his toys.  He has a toy bucket, a bucket with all his toys in it, he will dump it over and pick one out to play with, which of course we have to throw and get back and throw again.  When done with that game, he goes and gets another toy.  He is starting to learn what is a toy to be played with and what isn't.  I'll frequently will have an old rolled up sock laying in his path when he comes inside.  He will grab it and I will chase him around the room trying to get it back.  Playfully threatening as I go.  Sometimes he will grab something like a pillow off the couch and I will tell him that is a no.  He will be reluctant but he will give it up and when he does he is the best boy in the world.  He is really starting to learn the difference between good and bad.

He finds all sorts of dead things, who knows where.  This morning it was a dead bird.  I didn't want him to snarf it down, worried about the bones, so I distracted him with an egg and got the bird when he was occupied and disposed of it.  This guy really works your old brain cells.  Mostly it is planning and organizing.

We go for long walks or hikes everyday.  (I have lost 10 pounds!!!)  I find he is a lot more relaxed after having some exercise and getting to explore new places and scents.  I like to exercise the brain as well as the body, and out in our woods we can do both.  We have a newish subdivision a few miles away.  The lots go for half a mil and up so there are quite a few empty all over.  We found an elk super highway trail the other day and have been exploring where all the trails go for the last week.  Maybe 2-5 miles every day, I love trails, always want to know where that next one goes.  Have had to be careful though because it is hunting season.  So lots of noise from me.  Plus it gives the elk heads up so they can move out quietly.  I have smelled them several times.  Even found fresh poop a few times.  The smell is so strong, I wonder how strong it is for the pups.

Daisy has Mowgli well in hand.  He is ever the pup, always wanting to play.  He will come from behind and grab her tail, if she wants to play she will spin and go after him.  She doesn't want to play she spins fast and grabs him.  Then he whines and falls down.  He knows how to play the game.  Diasy is also very protective of him.  A neighbour came over the other day with her labradoodle puppy.  She-Molly, is a bit bigger than Daisy.  At any rate Daisy was fine until Molly went near Mowgli then Daisy went after Molly.  She doen't let anyone mess with her baby.  She even stays with him when I go next door to water plants.  (Yale is down stairs chasing and being a 'monster' to Mowgli right now.)  Daisy would have made a great mom.  She definitely shows him the ropes and gives it to him when he is being a brat.

Mowgli definitely has a mind of his own at times.  It can be a real challenge trying to figure out how to bend him, ever so gently, to come around to the rules of living in a house without traumatizing him.  He can be a challenge but is soooo worth it.  Our lives changed forever the other night.  He got up on the bed without and help.  That and his front teeth are all in.  My baby is growing up.  I just didn't think he would grow so fast.  Wow.  He is going to be big and beautiful.  His coat is all contrasts and soft.  Next winter he will be magnificent.  Of course I am biased but wow he is pretty.

Hope all is well with you and your babies.  I'm sure they are starting to get really furry.  We haven't had a change in the weather yet, although it is getting in the 40's at night.  Can't hardly wait for winter.  Snow-shoeing.  Love the snow.  I bet Mowgli will too.  Take care and lots of love to you,  Mare.

Sorry for the delay in pics just have been busy and was without a my digital cam. for a while. loaned it to a friend, still have not got it back.  I found an old one and took some pics, i also took some from my cell phone, not so great quality wise.  Soren, spelled with one "r" , is doing great.  He loves to play with my brothers dog(Zues), he is a G.shep/mloot mal. mix.  They get along great, he is also buddies with my jack russel (Rusty), i call them the three amigos.  My brother is on vacation so i have been watching his dog, Soren welcomes the company and loves to share.  The enclosure he is in is great, i have 12 ft walls(all block) and 10 ft.  It is about 145ft by 80ft that is linear ft. It cost me about 45k do get all done but it is worth it.   I am going to place some trees and a fort for him.  I am going to put some grass and vegetation down, just have to get the metal sprinklers attached to the wall and go from there, tried to bury them, that did not work out.  I will send pics when it is all done.  I will send some more pics soon, i have some when he first arrived which i took on a regular camera, just have to get them developed.  Richard

phoenix is such a sweetheart and soooo happy now that she is settling
into our routine.we have started to walk whiffen spit off lead in the morning and she is
getting to know the regulars and their dogs.
she is overcoming her fear of joggers at the spit and learning that they
ignore her! we'll take pictures there in september when it is less busy
again during the day. we walk at 7am. sometimes we go with my old dog
thor.i discovered a 4 month old puppy named shadow, (her size at the moment),
right next door and they play in the neighbours creek. she has been
introduced to horses, lamas and a donkey in the field down the street. we
walk at night on the leash. i found a butcher who will give me deer bones
and scraps and even hides for my making drums. deer season just started
here. how can i stop her from eating the deer poop? gross!
everyone comments on how pretty she is! her colors change daily and we
canliterally watch her grow. her coat is gorgeous and she's going to be
stunning looking with no doubt about what she is! she loves my daughter
tooand crawls all over chantal when she comes to visit.
i am looking into grant money for working with teenagers here at
thunderwolf medicine lodge so she'll be an ambassador :) i can
totoally see that i am going to have to have another one for a companion
for phoenix in a year or two. no regrets, no turning back! she's my baby
and an amazing friend! i'm so happy i got her and thankyou for sending
herhome with me!!

yesterday my daugther my dogs and of course Noomi visited german wolfsmother Tanja Askani. She liked to see Noomi and so we went there. Please the marvellous pictures which took Tanja herself. She is besides wolf trainer, bookwriter, photograher. I got lot more.

Noomi showed no fear before arctic wolf boy 15 month old Noran from Tanja. We were wondering that she did not was submissiv. So Noran put his head and tail in the air to show he is macho.

I will send you today or tomorrow some more pics we took ourselfs where you can see her with strange people who we and she didnt know before.

I was with all my dogs in a summercamp for czech wolfdogs in czech republik for 2 weeks. It was great for her socialization. After a few days I could let run her free on the ground. When I call her, she came. I trained her to come when I call "here" and she comes and sits in front of me, like german shepard. She is also able to walk beside me when I tell her "fu" means food. And when I stand still she sits down. If we give her a bit time, she is able to do everything.

Have fun with the pics, hope to see one or see the other on your homepage soon.

Many greetings from germany

Christian with his pack

Hi  ( gramdma)

I looked everywhere for the food bins and actually ordered one from early's, the place you had suggested. Farren is growing out and doing well. He is adjusting to his pen but I take him out and keep him with me and slowly let him adjust to it. I am starting training with him. Usually you start out at 4 months and I do 15 minute training sessions 3 times a day. He is definatley ready and is doing amazing. I am asking around to see if there is a club that I can train at. I can't beleive the difference in eagerness to learn and he learns because he wants to....a happy pup.

Will send out pictures soon.

Take Care

We got some great pictures of Raven at the beach!  I will have to download
them next door at Jim's father's.  I will leave the camera here and leave
him a note for tomorrow when he comes to babysit. As soon as they are
downloaded I will have him send them. We have a lot of pictures since he's
been home. I might put them on a disc and send the disc to you. May be
easier than crashing uyour computer with 30 pictures all at once!  Jim
and I cannot believe how smart Raven is. He is pretty easy to train and is
eager to please. Things are getting easier everyday.....and good thing!
Tonight when we got home from the beach, and by the way he loves going in
the truck!  Not a cry or wimper, it's like he owns it!  Jim asked him to
give a paw. He showed him twice how to do it. He pulled out the treat bag
and asked him to give a paw again. He put up his paw!!  So far he sits for
everything. Toys, treats, food, water. He lays down, he comes when called
and now he gives his paw, oh and kisses when asked. He's 10 weeks!  He's
our little wizard!  He makes our dogs look like lazy morons! He knows "no
bite!//good bite!". Sleeping has been good. Crate at night in our room. He
fusses a little, but for less than 5 minutes. He wakes up around 4am to go
out, but he will go back in the crate. The only remaining issue is Jersey.
She's moody, go figure!  There's a "bully" for ya!  She picks and chooses
when she likes him. She is either growling at him or playing with him.
There is no in between. Could be her sore leg. We are scheduling her
surgery tomorrow. Should be done over the next couple of weeks. After her
recovery, hopefully she'll settle down.  If not, we'll keep them
seperated. It's weird, outside they all play and get along. But they all
have their space too. You bring them inside and whole new attitudes come
out. The reality is Raven doesn't care!  Whether they like him or not, he
plays with them anyway!  They won't play with him or give a reaction, he
pulls their tails!  He seems to have a very strong will and absolutely no
fear. Good thing!  Anyways Sky, things are going well. I will send the
pictures as promised!  Have a good one!  Kristy & Jim

The pup is loved!! As I mentioned earlier we have atleast 5 teens over every day. All of them have seen the animals I have brought in , nursed back to health and placed. ( we paid for everything and i did not expect a cent back). This has been over the last 10 years.  I have also been doing energy work and healing on any animal that consents to it.There will always be older kids around and he is indeed very social with everyone and I refer everybody to you're website.

thought I had bought Farren for me but it turns out that the lesson is that pup is our family dog and my daughters love him to pieces. They bring friends over and I love to see the interaction with kids as he seems to gravitate to all kids....I can see why you're mission is so important

I am very proud that I got Farren from you as you are a living example of what it means to love all things...especially you're mission.  Most don't know what that is so I leave it and if they inquire further I refer them to your website. When we move to Sask I would love to bring him over or if you are in the area you are of course always welcome to come over any time!

Have a great day!!

Howdy.  Things are going pretty good down here.  HOTTTT!!!! in the mid 90s.  But we are surviving it.  We finally decided on his name, Mowgli, from Kipling's Jungle Book.  He is our little wild child.  He is so happy, he will wake up from a nap, very noisy affair, and smile and give kisses.  Straight outside and does his jobs and if really hot, back inside for play and food and what-not.   He must also sit to go outside and to come back in.  Sit to come out of the yard and sit to be petted.  Really working hard on the no teeth bit.   He is also starting to get the idea that outside is the toliet.  Scratched at the window this am-4am to go outside.  I was bleary but so proud.

He is an extremely social pup.  I take him to the restaurant and he greets everyone so happily.  He also has a very polite streak in him, he always sits on his own to greet people.  He very much wants to kiss everyone too.  Working on explaining that not everyone is mom who loves kisses and gives out kisses when good.  He also flops on his back a lot when meeting people for the second or third time.

Daisy has been playing with him very well.  Outside she will play, inside she wants to be left alone and he is starting to learn that .  Outside they play and play, especially if I sit in the yard with them.  Poor Daisy ends up with little prick marks all over her tongue.  She will roll him over and grab his throat and when she lets go, he gets up snapping.  Usually snapping air, sometimes getting her thick ruff around her throat.  I swear she just laughs at his futile attempts.  He will come inside with wet shoulders and neck and will be dry and fluffy in 20 min.  Now I now why pups have puppy fur.

He is such a delight.  Thank you so much for him.  Hear him waking up so another run outside and some play time before bed.  Please give some kisses on wet noses for me and lots of hugs.  Love Mare.

Hi, sorry for the lateness in pictures, haven't been taking much pictures of late.  I put in some old ones so that you can see some size reference shots.  THe one where he is next to Cajun (the black mouth cur) and then again at 11 weeks with Cajun.  Also, where he is young by Tanakh and then 12 weeks by my Golden Kiiro.  The ones in arms I can't remember his exact age at that point.

He's been doing good, except for not eating much in the heat, so I give him frozen treats of canned Zinpro to supplement his diet which seems to help a bit.  Unfortunately I don't have air conditioning (just fans and one window one).  Oh I have exciting news!  As you know I was worried about him and Tanakh getting along as I basically got Agape for Tanakh and so wanted them to be perfect for each other.  Well, this is the first animal Tanakh will play with.  THey have great fun chasing each other around the yard and the play goes both ways so I am VERY pleased with that.  Did have one incident though when I turned around to get something, puppy must have been acting too dominant (as he has been doing a lot of) and he got corrected by Tanakh around the muzzle (which is why I think it was dominance related).  He is fine though (I have vet stuff on hand so I could treat it right away with stuff that wasn't too harsh or abrasive).  It doesn't seem to have damaged their relationship, although pup is giving him more space when he asks for it now :)

I can hardly wait till we get to go on a vacation with him (hopefully at the end of August) so I can spend some quality one on one time with him without the rest of the pack.

He is a sweetheart, and sometimes can be silly, he prances when he walks with his head up very high but he is submissive.  He does get pretty anxious/kookoo when i am giving him his treats like the liver/hearts but i don't give it to him until he is calm and sitting and he has learned to do that real well.  He sits quitely for 30-45 seconds before i give him his treat.  He definitely takes into account my energy, i am normally very calm and relaxed and he mimics my personality a lot.  He loves to play but for a puppy he like to kick back a lot and take it easy.  He is a charmer though, when we go to the vet all the girls take him in the back and they give him extra attention, he takes that with stride.  Anyway i will send you pics hopefully this weekend.  He will be going to the groomers again this saturday.  He loves geting groomed, i thought he would not like it or fidget but he loves getting his torso massaged and his hind legs as well as his chest area. Talk to you later.

,
Finally got somewhere with this new computer system not quite what i want yet but still working on it,  these pics with one of my programs should go as a slide show but it isn't happening just yet......these are pics from day one home to up about a week or two ago.  Wahya is doing just fine she sure is a lover!!!!! She is probably about 25 lbs now and growing so quickly.  She took off after her first rabbit yesterday but was not lucky this time,  there are plenty more for her to learn with.  She also went for her first journey with a horseback ride yesterday, always lots to investigate but came when called after straying a bit to far for comfort. Her next vet appointment is in a week and she is very healthy for an Alaskan Husky.......we have been busy here with all we do and Wahya is fitting in with us perfectly or should I say we are fitting in with her perfectly?  I will work on more pics and get them to you now that I have a round about way of sending them without the other program up and running.

Talk to you later,

Julie

Agape had fun on set, got to meet lots of new people and hang out in his own trailer.  He went to the vet today for his first set of shots.  I already started weening him off sleeping in the bed with me to sleeping beside the bed and the first couple of nights of that he practiced all his escape artist moves, he finally stopped last night....fewf!  I'm now teaching him that being quiet will get me to let him out instead of the other way around and he was much better last night.   He is also good with his food now (not possessive any more as he was growling even though he had food all the time, did lots of rubbing with his face while he was eating and putting more food in the bowl while doing so)  Next will be objects as he is even more possessive about those, I just have to figure out the best way to deal with it first.  I am thinking of trying the methods of Jean Donaldson from her book MINE to see how good it works.

Enjoy the pics!!!!!

He is finally getting used to the trains as he was terrified of them so I take him for walks around the train yard every other night then I try to play with him there so it becomes a fun place.  I can hardly wait till we get to go on a vacation with him (hopefully at the end of August) so I can spend some quality one on one time with him without the rest of the pack.

He is on Orijen puppy and has good firm stools.  I am using Zinpro canned frozen as a supplement (as you can't over supplement with Zinpro) to improve eating in the extreem heat.  (side note, it went down in temperature yesterday and yesterday was the first day he finished every single meal!)

(another side note, tried one small bag of wellness puppy which he got the runs on).

Another note on off leash parks: they often have dogs visit that your puppy should not meet or come into contact with.

Another note on food.  It took me 2 years to find the perfect food for my other wolf dog even after following all the breeders suggestions with what worked for her.  SO don't give up, talk to the breeder, get all the info and keep trying.  The 2 diets that worked for him were ORijen (the only dry food he has ever done well on.  Oh and btw Orijen finally got a fish formulae as well.  I will be trying him on Zinpro just for a change in protein sources and to see if there is another food that works with him, will start the change this week actually so will let you know.) The other diet that worked for him was completely raw but high quality raw.  I forget the company that made it, it was based in BC that's all I remember and I can't get it here.  He was on it for 2 months while filming Air Buddies and I have never seen him look so good.  I rotated one red meat to 3 white and his stools were firm and small and best stools ever and absolutely gorgeous coat!  I only wish I could buy the stuff here!!!!!  Haven't found any good raw diets here that are packaged :( and I don't have a large freezer for just getting from the butcher.  As well I don't know enough about supplement and how much veggies and fruit they should get added to raw meat where as the other company had that already mixed in.  If you are going to feed raw you really have to do your homework first.  I have done so much and still don't feel nearly qualified.

I have chapters 1-6 + 19 (nutrition).  I've finished reading those that I already have and can't wait for the rest.  It has really been interesting to read about the history of wolves and wolf dogs.  I  had no idea that the rabies struggle has been faced with so much criticism.  Anyhow, I look forward to recieving the rest of your book.  I believe next week we start training classes but I would also like to read your information/suggestions on wolf training.

I have attached a few photo's of Koga.  He really does have a lot of personality and has done extremely well with other dogs when we go to the dog park.  He is fascinated with small breed dogs for some reason and is very submissive toward them.  I think it may have been from growing up the first 6 weeks with your two dogs!!  :)

The baby, Koga, is doing very well.  He and Denali are getting along much better.  They play every morning VERY early for about an hour or two but then settle down and nap for a while.  He is acclimating to the area very well.  I am asked every day if Koga is Denali's puppy (may be a good thing?).  People can't believe that he is only 10 weeks old!!  Anyhow, I am having a few problems with downloading things to my computer but I should have it fixed by the end of the day.  Once I do, I will send you some pics!!

Glad to hear all is well and the monks are keeping you busy!!  :)

Talk to you soon.

We have jsut moved in and need one more computer installed and then I can send pictures of Farren. One of the things that appalls me is the way that people treat animals most specifically dogs.....It's like they are disposable....letting them run and such. We are having our enclosures build towmorrow and the 10 grand is worth the effort!!
Farren is doing really really well....the whole family combines the training ( sit for anything) and he is so good with kids and animals, we have gotten lots of kudos, but I give all the credit to you for being there and supporting the pups as well as such remarkable breeding!!!

I will send pics asap.

Thanks

I will buy it here in germany. We were 2 weeks with all 5 dogs in Czech republik for summercamp for czech wolfdogs. It was amazing how Noomi liked all people and of course dogs even the dangerous once a lot. She was the Queen of steeling them their bones. Every dog and of coruse their owner loves Noomi. I will send you in the next days some nice pictures. When I give here time, she gets used to everyone, but many people coming all at once on us, she doesnt like. But if they come slowly is no problem.

Christian

PS: My Myla and me won Clubshow for czech wolfdogs out of 50 dogs and we got Orin for large breed as a price. I gave it to Noomi and she loves it.

he is very playful and energetic.  He is definitely phasing a lot.  His head/body areas are graying out and his paws/face is still pretty black.

Nicodemus made the trip wonderfully!  I had no problems with anything.  The cargo people where sweet though.  They brought Nic out in the waiting room with us while we waited on Jerry.  His crate was not all that bad, the towel was just a little damp in one spot, where he had wet, but Nic was clean.  He went straight out of the kennel into my arms and licked my face.  As to say whew, thank you for taking me out of there.  He rode in Rebeccas arms the car ride home, he did great!  Did both of his businesses in the front yard, stool was firm.  He cried a little at our big yard, it is very large, has a lot of tall trees too and wanted one of us to pick him up.  He has stayed with me or one of the girls since he got home.  He drank and ate some and is asleep next to Elizabeth on the couch as we speak.  He warmed up to us all immediately!  Wow!  YOU DID A GREAT JOB WITH HIM!  I know Raven and Wicca gave the good genes, but he is wonderfully stable and confident.  You were sooooooooooooooo right, we love him already and are very proud of him.   THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will send some pics tomorrow.  I took a few today and will get some more later.  He was well worth all our troubles and then some.  Give Louis a big kiss for me!! And tell him thank you!  Shannon

Thanks again for Milena she is doing very good, and she is fitting right in our busy house.  I am amazed at how bright she is to learn to follow or adjust to her new home.  We have found that she prefers to sleep in our bed at night and we find it easier waking in the night when she is with us.  She has adopted two new friends Chevy (Pit-bull) and Miguel (Collie/Shepard).  Many times during the day we stop to watch the new referee in the house try to break her new friends play fights up.  No worries they are just playing.  Actually Chevy (not named by our Family) has taken a big liking to Milena and watches over her quite intently.  The only thing I was concerned about was when Chevy was letting Milena try to suck on her, but that is all over now.  My children have been very patient with each other as they take their turns holding her.  My wife is trying to contain her babying of Milena until she feels Im not threatened about it, after all I was the one who wanted to get her in the first place (Can you tell Im jealous).  It looks like she is going to live up to the name that I gave her because she is very popular around our household.  I will send some pictures in the next few days if that is all right.

Regards,

Ronald Kroeker

Well Sky, what can I say except he gets better everyday and sweeter too.  Everyone (four legged) is warming up to him now, including Luke, as the pics will show.  Went to petco today, he did beautifully, seems to take to riding with ease, we bought all kind of toys and goodies.  Visited my daughters work (a bird store), he did great there too, seems to love everyone and is very friendly and outgoing.  At home, he has made it his palace now.  He is soooooooooooo SMART has learned the lay out of the place already, climbs the stairs on the porch to come in with ease, knows where his water, food, and den is (large crate) however he likes Lukes better.  He eats off and on all day and we have had no problem at all with knowing when he needs to go out to do his business.  Last night he slept in his kennel with the door open without any noise or needing to go out for four and half hours straight.  He just climbed in there himself and went to sleep.  At home today he has played and played.  He is just wonderful and such a blessing to our lives.  I could not ask for a better puppy, or have I ever seen or heard of one that does all that he has done is such a easy and smart way.  I know, just like with human children, not everyday will go so smoothly.  For the little ones learn, grow, and make mistakes eventually.  But, hey, thats how they learn.  But who knows with this guy he might just surprise us all, for he has so far.  I love him!!!!!!

 Good morning,

This weekend was superb!  Nicodemus continues to learn, be outgoing, a ham, and has a very good appetite.   Jerry and I are lead teachers at our Church for the childrens program; we have our own facility (building) and we are there for six hours every Sunday.  Of coarse, Nicodemus goes everywhere with me, so he went to church Sunday. I was a little worried about how he might handle the loud noises and all the children (over fifty) but he passed with flying colors, exceeded all my dreams in his performance and behavior.  All the children loved him; he was such a ham there, eating up all the attention. He is very good with the children, I hold him however when they touch him for I do not want them to hurt him (you know how children could be) he just lets them pet him .  He was quiet and still during the teaching, he had his time up on the stage too though.  He stays by my side on a long lead and follows me wherever I go.  Now at home I do not use the lead, but have had no problems at all with him.  He is always at my feet, goes to the door though when he needs to go out, does play with the other dogs, but I am always right there ever watchful and aware , he did not even make any mistakes at church.  I took him out side three times he wet each time and did his business once.  He is very outgoing and loves everyone.  The pastor and all the parents love him, too and he will be going each Sunday with us now, everyone cant wait to watch him grow.  Today I will see how he does to the clicker.  I will introduce the sound to him and give him a treat, with each click.  Once he gets the idea hey, when I hear a click I get a treat.  I do not know if he is too young as of yet for this, but we will see and take it slow, but I want to familiarize him with it daily until he gets it, and then work on good behavior gets a click and a treat.  However, he has not done anything bad as of yet, only good things.  I will have to make sure he does not eat too much and get overweight in the future; I will monetary how much he is eating always.  But what I have read, this is how you begin the training and when he learns what the sound means and what he will be getting immediately you then go to the next step of you only get the sound and treat with a desired response or behavior.  Well I guess that is all for now, wow, thank you for all the e-mails you sent me when you had him.  I do not know how you found time to e-mail everyone with all those babies, he takes all my attention just about,  now, If I dont have him, Elizabeth or Jerry does, so unless they are taking care of him or he is asleep I dont have the time for anything else.  But boy, do I love him!

We LOVE him. He is sooooo sweet! He slept in my lap all the
way home and he is soooo cute. He follows us everywhere,
has eaten abit and had some water and one treat. He also
climbed 5 stairs all on his own. He just wants to be wherever
we are. He also lay at our feet while we had supper. He is so
smart, he learns so fast.
We have named him Willow. We will keep in touch, don't
worry! And thanks so much, we are both very impressed with
him. He is a treasure!

Angel Blessings, Love & Light,

Jennifer

Willow is learning so much. He follows us everywhere and is very social. He met at least 15 different people today and wasn't frightened or startled. Blaine thinks he is already 70% housetrained. (I had to work today so Blaine was in charge, and Blaine has to work tonight so it's my turn!) It's amazing how you can fall in love with an animal so fast and so unconditionally...I would do anything for this little guy. I guarantee you he will be very happy.
Right now he's sleeping soundly at my feet. He cried on and off last night but I think he handled this big transition with a brave heart and a fearless little soul.
We keep sending you updates.

Well Nicodemus is seven weeks today, but as smart as some one year olds.  I took him today to my girl's coop class that they have on Wednesdays (they do biology, history, and art there) it is held at a park's community center.   He was a hit as always, walks really good on a leash, on my left side and sits down when I stop walking.  Rebecca took him into her history class as sort of a guest speaker, ha, (she has got him to howl now on cue) I don't know how she did it but he is the sweetest thing. He seems to just love to please and always wants to be with one of us at all times, which is great!  We are soooooooooo in love with him.  I tried to get pictures of him playing but the pics always come back a blur, for he moves so fast.  I will keep trying to get some good pictures of him playing with the other doggies, but here is another one of him sleeping, he still sleeps a lot (it's just because he is still a baby, I know).  Anyway, that's the latest.  The rest is just sleep, eat, drink, play and poop.  Oh, he slept in his crate with the door open all last night from 11:00 till 5:00 this morning.  Wow! He is so good, better than any other dog I have ever heard of.  Thank you again for the millionth time for bringing him into our lives.  Write to you more later.

                                                       Love, Shannon and Nicodemus

Pheonix is great! I havent had access to email for a while now, but Im back to work and thought I should send you a note. I hope to have some pictures to email you soon. He rarely leaves my side. He was really winey for the first while, but has really settled in. It was a real sight to see my huge Great Dane play with him the other day. Hes quite fond of her. He took it upon himself to find a plastic ball yesterday and is learning to retrieve it, actually he retrieves it very well, he just doesnt come back to me quite yet, but it is my Danes favourite game and he is a quick learner.

We all love him! Hes taking to car rides very well, considering his last trip in the kennel on the airline. I have to go now, but I will keep in touch, thanks for all the emails youve been sending.

 Diane Amado

I am sending you more pictures! He has turned so soft! I cant believe how snuggly he is, he just melts when you pick him up, just like the picture of Amnesty you just sent. Here he is with my Dane Maya, shes clumsy around him but hell soon be her match, and he loves the cats, but only one of them tolerates him so far. His teeth are so sharp when he plays with Salt (pictured) that the play time doesnt last long.  The last one is of him helping me with my tool belt. We were putting up more wire so he cant get out when hes bigger and he thought he should get involved. You sure have to be fast around him because his teeth slice through leather like butter it seems.Anyway thanks so much for the pictures of his parents, they are gorgeous! I will keep in touch.

 Diane

Hi there, Pheonix is fine. I don't use this email address on a regular basis only my work one so I didn't know you had sent me emails. I did get your phone call last night so I signed back onto this email at home to send you this note. I have had a couple of emails from you there including the latest one about Amnesty.

He didn't even seem to notice getting fixed. Nothing seems to faze him. Eventhough he is huge, his jewels were very small at 6 months but the Vet wasn't worried, he has studying wolves oddly enough and we both agreed that having him neutered before the hormones kicked in was a good idea. He is truly a sweetheart! Very gently and very loving. I have a friend with a digital camera coming over tomorrow to take pictures of him. Other than that I don't have one and haven't taken any pictures since the last set I sent you.  He is absolutely gorgeous! and the everyone was swooning over him at the Vets. I hope the pictures do him justice.

I'll try to get back to you tomorrow.

Diane.

Sorry , Willow is just fine. He's growing fast and is a joy. We have been camping this week and he was great! I have some pictures but haven't downloaded them yet. I will try to do that soon. I am busy packing as I have sold a home that I owned in Cochrane. I still have so much stuff there and have been spending all my free time there packing and getting ready to move everything here at Blaine's house this Sunday.Willow weighed in at the vets last week at 35lbs and he is very healthy. We have him on a 95% raw diet. He gets abit of kibble but mostly bison patties, and a bison/veggie mix patty, all organic and totally healthy. He loves the. For snacks he gets a turkey neck, raw carrots etc. He sits, comes, walks really well on leash, is great off leash, is getting better at house training,
loves everyone and every dog that he meets. He is very social and loveable. He is just coming out of a really bitey stage, and he is learning to be more gentle. He swam in a river while camping and was a little leary at first but once he got going he really loved it.I will send you photos as soon as I have them online,

Angel Blessings, Love & Light,

Jennifer

Hello ,

Just wanted you to know we already got Nics booster shots and he did beautifully, I am keeping up with the timing of his shots I would just die if he got ill, soooooooooo I want to make sure and prevent it.  As he grows he just gets better,  he is very smart, seems to love to please.  He stays right at my side and is always attentive of me and our surroundings.  He now knows and does sit, touch, down, shake and we started on stay today and he passed it with flying colorings.  It was very hard on him to stay put with the treats just three feet away from him on the floor, but he stayed until I told him to go get them by saying ok.  He is a wonderful creature, how did I ever get along without him?  I am sending some more pictures of him from this week, see how big he is to Maggie and Luke.  Love ya,   Shannon

Hows it going??
heres a couple pics of Tito.....he is starting to act a little shy
around strangers so we are going to start taking him to town with us.
He loves getting in the back of the truck with the kids when we drive
down to our pond ( 2 miles) from the house.
No sickness when Traveling...yahooooo!!........inside or in the back of
the truck (on his leash ofcourse).

Thanks Grant
